TAG: Animal Crossing New Horizon Book Tag

Updated: Feb 15, 2021

Hey Guys, I recently found out about this tag from book twitter who is also engaged in the new Animal Crossing game. It was created by Angharad & Becky over at Two Book Thieves. Once I found this, I knew I had to do it despite not being tagged. Honestly, I'm so in love with Animal Crossing right now so here goes:

Q: Past Villager – Who is a character you found when you were younger that still has a place in your heart?

A: I remember playing animal crossing Wild World on the DS when it was first out but I cannot remember any villagers from it. That's bad I know right. But I was mainly in it for hitting my friends with shovels and doing treasure hunts. But right now, I would say my favourite villager is Bianca or Audie. Audie is definitely because of the story behind the villager. (Click here to learn more about it)

Q: Blather’s Blatherings – Recommend a historical fiction book that you think everybody should read

A: I'm looking at my bookshelf trying to find historical fiction books. Honestly, I would say either the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon or Circe by Madeline Miller. Both of them, I completely adore.

Q: Celeste’s Wish – What is a future book release you wish you could read now?

A: Anything by Jay Kristoff. I love his writing so much. (this includes his co - written series with Amie Kaufman)

Q: Timmy & Tommy – What is your favourite sibling relationship in a book?

A: I honestly can't think of any that are my favourite. I think the Song-Covey sisters are great and support each other no matter what.

Q: The Easter Bunny – A popular book character that you’re not a big fan of.

A: I can't exactly think of one. I think maybe Manon from Throne of Glass is a character that I didn't particularly like in the beginning but grew to love her.

Q: Nook’s Loans – An author you’d give all your money to.

A: Like I said, Jay Kristoff. Maybe Laini Taylor too.

Q: The Sisters Able – What is your favourite fictional family (found or otherwise)?

A: I would say the Song-Covey family once again because in every other book that I would reference here, some things have happened that is chaos and I don't need that kind of energy in my life right now.

Q: It’s a C+ – What is a book trope you don’t like that keeps popping up?

A: The Chosen One or The Secret Heir type thing.

Q: The Wandering Camel – What is your favourite book set in a land far away from yours?

A: The Cruel Prince, A Curse so Dark and Lonely and The Poision Study Series (Chronicles of Ixia)

Q: What Would Dodos Do? – A fictional land you wish you could fly away to at any moment?

A: Any type of Faerie land or mystical I'm in. Top Three places: Elfhame, Emberfall and Ixia. All of the lands of books referenced in my last question.
