TAG: Christmas Blogger Book Tag.

Updated: Dec 27, 2020

Hey guys, It's that time of year where we celebrate with family so I thought lets make a blog post, but I didn't know about what exactly so I went searching for some Christmas Book tags so here it is. Hope you enjoy.

What is your favourite Christmas scene in a book?

My favourite christmas scene in a book would have to be one from Harry Potter. To me, this series is the epitome and does christmas scenes very well. it's just a shame that the author is not exactly a great person to be looked up to anymore.

Do you have any Christmas book traditions?

I tend to try and read a christmassy book every year but this year, 2020, nothing has seemed to interest me. I think that's an overall theme for the year to be honest.

Do you prefer to get presents of book vouchers or books?

I don't mind either to be honest. I have an amazon wishlist if people want to give me books for christmas but vouchers are great as well.

Do you give books as presents?

Depends on the person. I tend not to as only few of my friends that I give gifts to are into books.

What bookish item is on your Christmas wishlist?

Just BOOKS! Anything bookish related, like merch, I tend to get myself as I know what I'm into.

What books would you love Santa to have in his sack for you?

mhmm. Maybe Crooked Kingdom special edition to complete my set and Empire of Gold hardback as I have read it, but not in physical form (audiobook)

Fake Christmas tree or real Christmas tree?

BOTH! Fake for inside the house, real for outside the house. this way it stops the cats and dogs that I have climbing up.

What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?

I would love to say shopping for other people and giving my presents to them but working in retail has kind of destroyed that love for me. So I would say the atmosphere of being around family.

What Christmas book would you recommend?

The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand and My True Love gave to me by Stephanie Perkins. My True love is an anthology of short stories by your favourite YA authors surrounding and involving the christmas time. It was such a joy to read and I actually might read it again this year.

What dish on your Christmas menu are you most looking forward to?

Always stuffing and Turkey.

When do you open your Christmas presents?

Christmas Morning. Generally around 7-10am. Depends on how tired we all are in my household.

What’s your favourite Christmas song?

Pentatonix is one of my favourite bands to listen to around this time of year. Their accapella is so great and really lends itself to this festive period. Also, I love John Barrowman, so when he came out with a Christmas album last year, I was so on that. As well as Michael Buble of course. But many Christmas songs have been ruined by working in retail which is what definitely sucks.

Are you dreaming of a white Christmas?

Yes! I always dream of a white christmas, it's something about it that is wonderful and reminds me of being a child and playing in the snow. But the adult in me, doesn't want it because of working and obviously travelling in the snow which is dreadful.
