TAG: The New Year’s Book Tag 2021

Updated: Jan 16, 2021

How many books are you planning to read in 2021?

I usually plan on around 50-100 for my goodreads goal. I put down 50 as a start and then if I go above that, I can change it. So once I get to 50, I change my goal to 75. From 75 to 100. And so on. I find that this is better for me and doesn’t put too much expectation on me that I’m going to read lots and lots during this year.

Name 5 books that you didn't get to in 2020 but want to make a priority in 2021.

I’m hoping to do the rest of the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown. I read Red Rising two years ago and I haven’t gone back to that world yet. So here’s to hoping. The Jade City series by Fonda Lee as well.

What genre do you want to read more of?

As something I don’t read much, classics and contemporaries as something I read a lot of, Fantasy.

Name 3 non-bookish related goals for 2021.

1. to make it better than 2020

2. to keep updating the blog more

3. to keep working out at the gym.

What's a book you've had forever that you still need to read?

The Diabolic by SJ Kincaid and any others that I bought at YALC over the years that I haven’t read.

One word that your hoping 2021 will be.

Better than this year ‘cause damn.
